Bite into one of its flowers and you’ll instantly understand where the name “Buzz Button” comes from—a peppery tingle followed by a gentle buzzing sensation thanks to a naturally occurring plant compound called spilanthol.

While paracress has a rich history in traditional herbalism, it’s also become one of my favorite botanicals for natural skincare.
